I love elopements, because of how intimate and how truly meaningful they are. I recently shot a courthouse elopement at the Downtown San Diego courthouse and it was nothing but perfect. I met the couple and their closest friends and family in the morning before their ceremony began. I documented the whole morning leading into the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and then took portraits aftewards.

I noticed the smiles, the tears, the holding hands and took photos of all the emotions. It was very beautiful to photograph a couple so in love.

Once the ceremony was over, we went outside and I took portraits of the newly wed couple. The outside of the San Diego courthouse is absolutely stunning. The architecture photographs so beautifully and it was definitely this couples style.
